General
Every creative template has a homepage, where you can see and manage essential template details, ad formats, fonts, features, child creatives, and monitor the template activity log.
Note: Changes to the home page are saved automatically.
User Permissions
- You need the Creative Templates user permission to create or change creative templates.
Navigating the Creative Template Homepage
The creative template homepage has the following UI areas:
Details
Here, you can see basic creative template details, such as its ID, type, creation date, and design source type. Clicking the Show More quicklink reveals a poster preview of the template design and a place to add an optional template description.
You can change the template's type if no creatives have been created from it.
Note: To convert a video, interactive video, or in-banner video template to image or HTML, it must not have any video layers.
Formats
This section displays all ad formats added to the creative template. Clicking the plus sign lets you add more ad formats through file upload.
Fonts
This section displays all fonts used in the creative template. Clicking the plus sign opens the Fonts Library, where you can select fonts to add to the template.
Features
This section displays all activatable features for the creative template and its associated creatives: Content, Location, Product, and Weather. You can enable and disable them here as needed.
Note: You can also activate these features when first creating the template.
When the Product, Location, or Content feature is enabled, it requires you to select a default product, location, or content feed. Custom-code creative templates require you to select a product range from the feed.
Note: The maximum number of product feed items a creative template can display is 15.
(Child) Creatives
This section displays all child creatives made from your creative template, and you can click the plus sign to create them. You can also hover over a child creative's ID to see its name, and click the creative's ID to edit it.
Activity Log
This section displays an ongoing list of actions related to the creative template.
Template Preview
Here, you can preview your creative template's ad formats. The Format selector lets you choose which ad formats are included in the preview (All Formats by default).
