General
You can create tearsheets in a programmatic and social campaign to review and approve the campaign's creative variants. A tearsheet provides a live preview of all potential ad variations based on your campaign setup. You can also filter the tearsheet to generate a subset of potential campaign ad variations for previewing.
- Tearsheets are available for all campaigns except audio and third-party ad tracking campaigns.
- Tearsheets are created per campaign version.
- Tearsheets are available for all campaign statuses.
- Tearsheets can be shared externally with a public link, which allows anyone outside of Flight Control to access them.
Note: Ad variations displayed in social campaign tearsheets are simulated social media previews. Minor discrepancies may exist between the tearsheet preview and the actual social media placement.
Limitations
- When using a product selection card, tearsheets can only be generated when any of the following strategies are selected:
- Top items
- Retargeting
- Store Promoted Products
- Custom Matching Strategy
- Sports Strategies
- Video campaigns must (re-)render ad variations to display the campaign's most current ad variations in their tearsheets. Updating the campaign's logic without re-rendering variations will lead to an outdated tearsheet.
- A single tearsheet can include up to 1,000 variations. If variations exceed 1,000, return to the tearsheet filter setups and minimize what is included.
Prerequisites
- Before creating a social campaign tearsheet, sync with your social platform campaigns and ad sets/ad groups, and complete your campaign logic.
