Snapchat Integration

The Snapchat integration lets you connect your Snapchat advertising account with your Flight Control account. Once connected, you can:

  • Sync Snapchat campaigns and ad sets with a Flight Control campaign.
  • Publish ads on Snapchat that users can see in "Stories" and "Spotlight" placements.
  • Enable in-flight on/off ad toggling during ad serving based on your campaign logic.
  • Collect insights and analytics, which are then utilized in dashboards, metrics, and campaign insights.

Note: Flight Control doesn't support conversion tracking in Snapchat, as the monitoring is at the ad-set level rather than the ad level. Additionally, a Snapchat ad set can contain a maximum of 50 ads.

Supported Ad Types

You can use the following ad types in Flight Control for Snapchat campaigns:

The following creative template and image/video asset specifications exist:

  • Template Type: Image or Video
  • Ad Size: 1080x1920 (9:16)
  • Recommended Duration: 3 to 9 seconds (but 3 to 180 seconds is allowed)

We recommend referencing the safe area PNG overlay template for Snapchat ads.

  • Have Organization Admin access to your Snapchat Ads Manager account.
    • Follow the steps in this guide to provide organization access, and this guide for ad account access.
  • Have a campaign created and published in your Snapchat Ads Manager account.
    • Note: Snapchat Ads Manager campaigns require an ad placeholder to publish them.
  • If using location or weather-based strategies, create ad sets in Ads Manager for specific locations.

Connecting Your Snapchat Account with Flight Control

To connect with your Snapchat advertising account:

  1. Go to Account > Integrations and click Add.
  2. Select Snapchat. The Add Snapchat Ad Account window will display.
  3. Click Authorize Now.
    • You'll be directed to the Snapchat Ads website to authorize Clinch's access to your advertising account. (You may need to log in first.)
  4. Click Continue in Snapchat to grant access to Flight Control.
    • You'll be redirected to Flight Control to select ad accounts.
  5. Select the specific ad accounts you want to connect with your Flight Control account.
  6. Click Submit.

Your Snapchat account is now integrated with Flight Control and will be displayed in your account's Integrations table.
