Meta Integration

Flight Control's Meta integration enables:

  • Syncing campaign and ad-set structure from a meta campaign into a Flight Control campaign.
  • Publishing ads from Flight Control into meta under the specified ad sets.
  • In-flight on/off ad toggling during ad serving based on the Flight Control map.
  • Collecting insights and analytics, such as conversion data, which are then integrated into our cross-channel dashboard.

Ad Types & Specifications

You can use the following ad types for Meta campaigns:

  • Single Image
  • Single Video 
  • Carousel

The following creative template and image/video asset specifications exist:

  • Template Type: Image and Video
  • Image Ad Size: 1080x1080 (1:1), 1080x1350 (4:5), and 1080x1920 (9:16 — Stories)
  • Video Ad Size: 1080x1080 (1:1) and 1080x1920 (9:16 — Stories)
  • Recommended Duration: 5 to 15 seconds (but 1 second to 241 minutes is allowed)

We recommend referencing the safe area PNG overlay templates for Meta feed and story videos.

Integrating with Meta Business Manager

Step 1: Assign Clinch as a Partner in Business Manager

Reference the table below for instructions on enabling Clinch as a partner in the different areas within your Meta Business Manager account.

Important: Before proceeding with the steps below, you must: 

  • Have full control of the Meta Business Manager account.
  • Know the advertiser's ad account and required page(s). 
Meta Section Instructions

Ad Account

(Required)

In Business Manager, 

  1. Click Business Settings > Accounts > click the Ad Account tab.
  2. Select the relevant ad account and click Assign Partner.
  3. Enter the Clinch Business ID (388111418252868).
  4. Toggle Manage campaigns (ads) within the "Partial Access" section.
  5. Click Assign.

Page Access

(Required)

In Business Manager, 

  1. Click Business Settings > Accounts > click the Pages tab.
  2. Select the relevant page(s) and click Assign Partner.
  3. Toggle Ads and Insights within the "Partial Access" section.
  4. Enter the Clinch Business ID (388111418252868), and click Assign.

Product Catalog

(required for Meta DPA campaigns)

In Business Manager,

  1. Click Business Settings > Data Sources > click the Catalog tab.
  2. Select a catalog and click Assign Partners.
  3. Toggle Manage catalog.
  4. Enter the Clinch Business ID ( 388111418252868), and click Next.

Facebook Pixel 

(as needed based on the campaign setup requirements) 

In Business Manager, 

  1. Click Business Settings > Data Sources > click the Pixel tab.
  2. Select the Pixel and click Assign Partner. 
  3. Toggle Ads and Insights within the "Partial Access" section.
  4. Enter the Clinch Business ID (388111418252868), and click Assign.

Instagram Handle

(Required)

In Business Manager, 

  1. Click Business Settings > Accounts > click the Accounts tab.
  2. Select the Instagram account and click Assign Partner.
  3. Toggle Ads and Insights within the "Partial Access" section.
  4. Enter the Clinch Business ID ( 388111418252868 ), and click   Assign.

Step 2: Integrate the Meta Advertiser Account 

  1. Go to Account > Integrations.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Select Meta.
  4. Enter your Meta ad account ID.

You can now sync your Meta account campaigns and ad sets with Flight Control Meta campaigns.

Making Changes in Meta Business Manager

To prevent data overwrites and other issues, you must make changes to Flight Control ads published to your Meta account directly within Flight Control, not Meta Business Manager.

Changes to Meta campaigns and ad sets synced with Flight Control won't impact Flight Control creative content. However, changes to catalogs or product sets within Meta Business Manager may affect DPA campaign ads.
