General
The Schedule Card allows you to set a schedule that a specific creative should ad serve. It allows you to set the schedule by Date-Time Ranges or by Dayparting (Day-Of-Week / Time-Of-Day). For example, you can designate hourly restrictions on creatives set to display during specific times throughout the day.
For social campaigns, the schedule card influences when ads are turned on and off in the social platform.
Adding a Schedule Card
A card can be added to a campaign map using one of the below options:
- Clicking the Add Cards icon. This adds the card to the campaign map but does not link it to another card
- Clicking any card's Output. This automatically links the added card to that card
Setting up the Schedule Card
When the Schedule card is added to the campaign map, it opens the Settings window. Here you can:

- For programmatic campaigns, click the gear icon for advanced setup regarding how Flight Control will act in case of multiple eligible outputs:
- A random output is chosen within eligible outputs: outputs will serve randomly at equal rate
- The first eligible output is chosen: outputs will serve in order from top to bottom (e.g., 1st output, then 2nd, etc.)
- Adjust the Time Zone source (optional): select from the following options
- Advertiser: the schedule would work according to the advertiser’s time zone, as defined under Account > Settings > Account Details
- Manually: this allows you to select a time zone from a drop-down. The schedule you've set up will then adhere to the time zone you manually selected.
- User (default): the schedule would work based on the time zone of the user's location.
- Note: User timezone isn't available for social campaign schedule cards since Flight Control doesn't serve the ads.
