Creative Preview

The Creative Preview pane is available in many places across Flight Control:

Note: Public links for creative previews can be shared externally by clicking the share icon within the pane.

  1. Use the Formats drop-down to add or remove formats from the Preview. You can also remove an ad format from the preview by clicking the X icon above the respective format.
  2. Click the refresh icon to refresh all formats within the template or creative preview.
    • Note: To troubleshoot blurriness, low-quality rendering, or other issues, we recommend you refresh the preview.
  3. Click this play/pause icon to start and stop all formats. (This is also available for each ad size.)
  4. Drag the drawer handle left or right if you need more viewable space.
  5. Use the navigation bar to change the zoom and scale.
  6. Click this arrow to expand the drawer to see the specific preview parameters (see Preview Parameter Drawer section below for details).

In the Preview drawer you will find the following:

  1. Preview Settings:
    • Show Click Areas: For HTML creatives that have been mapped for multiple click areas, enabling this option will show the clickable area inside the ad preview.
    • Show Ad Choices: For HTML creatives, enabling this option renders a simulated Ad Choices (i) icon in the preview. This helps designers avoid placing important elements in that area, as the icon will override anything beneath it. 
  2. Products Dropdown: This dropdown is available when the template's Product feature is enabled. It allows you to select a feed, a product set, or a top items list, and any products you want to use for the preview.
  3. Location Dropdown: This dropdown is available when the template's Location feature is enabled. It allows you to select a location feed, a location set, and any locations you want to use for the preview.
  4. Content Dropdown: This dropdown is available when the template's Content feature is enabled. It allows you to select a content feed, a content set, and any content items you want to use for the preview.
