General
Flight Control is integrated with the Amazon DSP, allowing you to connect a Flight Control campaign with an Amazon campaign, thereby enabling the following functions:
- Import placements - Import Amazon ad groups to Flight Control as campaign placements
- Publish Tags - Traffic ad tags to Amazon DSP as creatives
You can connect a single Flight Control campaign to multiple Amazon campaigns.
Note: You can find information on available Amazon macros within your account's DSPs & Publishers page.
Prerequisite
- Given sensitivities for Amazon PII, Clinch holds a unique partnership with Amazon as the only ad server able to serve against Amazon Custom Audiences.
- Before setting up your Amazon DSP integration, please submit a support ticket to have Amazon exposed to your account.
Permissions
- To ensure the integration has the necessary permissions to sync with ad groups and publish tags, it must be authorized by a user with Admin or Editor access within the Account on Amazon DSP.
- The user would also need to have Account Admin access within Flight Control to add the integration.
Supported Channels/Campaign Types
These channels are specific to the Amazon Trafficking API and are not representative of the full scope of median channels or ad formats Clinch supports with Amazon Ads*.
- Programmatic Display
- Programmatic Video (OLV/CTV)
- Interactive Video
- In Banner Video
*Note that although this integration doesn't apply to Sponsored Ads, it can be supported via manual trafficking.
*Audio is currently not supported via the integration. However, Clinch is certified to serve Audio tags on Amazon DSP.
