Yahoo DSP Integration

Flight Control’s integration with Yahoo DSP allows you to link campaigns across both platforms to:

  1. Import placements – Import Yahoo line items into Flight Control as campaign placements.
  2. Publish tags – Traffic Flight Control ad tags to Yahoo DSP as creatives.

You can import placements from multiple Yahoo campaigns into a single Flight Control campaign.

Yahoo Integration Scope

Supported Not Supported or Allowed
Synchronize Yahoo DSP campaigns and line items with Flight Control using read-only access. Create or modify Yahoo DSP campaigns or line items, including their targeting, bidding, or budget configuration.
Traffic Flight Control ad tags as creatives to their corresponding Yahoo DSP line items. Access or extract DSP-owned audience data.

  • You must have a Yahoo DSP account that is enabled for API access.

  • You must have Admin access in your Flight Control account to add the integration.

Setting Up the Yahoo DSP Integration for Your Account

Step 1: Obtain Your Yahoo DSP Client ID and Client Secret

  1. Log in to your Yahoo DSP account.
  2. In the upper-right corner of any Yahoo DSP page, select your name.image2.png
  3. Select My Account from the menu.
  4. Select Activate.
  5. Select Agree.
  6. A success message displays your Client ID and Client Secret. This information is generated only once and cannot be retrieved again. Copy and securely save both values because you will need them when configuring the integration in Step 2.

Step 2: Configure the Yahoo DSP Integration in Your Flight Control Account

  1. In Flight Control, go to Account > Integrations.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Select Yahoo.
  4. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Select the advertiser, and then click Add.

The Yahoo account is added to your account's Integrations table.
