General
Flight Control's HTML and image creative templates support high-density (2x) resolution for retina displays, which are common for mobile devices. This resolution improves the sharpness of text and fine details, ensuring ads appear crisp and clear when rendered on high-resolution screens
To support high-resolution creatives when building the ad composition, you must provide images at least double the size (of the layer). The ad composition would then render in the browser at twice the resolution on applicable devices.
For example, a 300x250 image will display at 600x500, delivering crisp visuals without altering the base size.
Creating a High-Density HTML or Image Creative Template
To create an HTML or image creative template that supports high-density resolution:
- Go to your template's Build step.
- Add an image twice the size of the bounding box.
- Note: Ensure the image is no larger than twice the bounding box's size.
- If you’re using the Map/Set steps, ensure any images are also double-sized.
The template now supports high-density resolution, which you can see in the template's preview.
